Biography

Amna Malik is Senior Lecturer in Art History and Theory, at the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL. She has published a number of articles and chapters in books examining diaspora and exile in contemporary art. Amna is currently working on a book that offers a detailed analysis of the art object by artists of the African and Asian diasporas in postcolonial Britain. She is a member of the Academic Forum of the Runnymede Trust and the Race Equality Steering Group at UCL.
