Education: Degree in Psychology from Loughborough University.
Experience: Prior to joining UCL, Alison worked as a Senior Quantitative Researcher at NatCen Social Research, implementing surveys on a wide range of topics, with a variety of methods.

Research Summary
Alison is involved in analysis of determinants of good or poor health, using large survey datasets such as the Health Survey for England, European Health Examination Survey, National Diet and Nutrition Survey, Scottish Health Survey. In additional to cross-sectional analysis, she also uses linked mortality data to conduct more complex research, such as survival analysis.
