Dr. Chen-Yu Chang (張倩瑜) is tenured faculty member in the Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from National Taiwan University and his PhD from the Bartlett school with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan. In 2004, he was appointed as AIM scholar (Advanced Institute of Management Research). He received the best paper award from the Chinese Institute of Construction Management in 2007, 2008 and 2011. He is listed in fifteen international biographies and reviews papers for several journals, including ASCE Journal of Construction Engineering and Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Construction Management and Economics, and International Journal of Project Management. He also serves the Editorial Board of Construction Management and Economics.


Current and recent Research includes topics in the areas of Procurement Engineering: A New Approach for Project Governance Design; Transaction cost theory of construction organisation and Public-Private Partnerships
