Biography

Eirini Koutoumanou has gained a BSc degree in Statistics from Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc degree in Statistics at Lancaster University which was funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. Her interest has always been in the pure statistical science and ways of delivering its various aspects and interpretations to non-statistically orientated audiences. She joined the UCL Institute of Child Health at 2008 and since then she has led many statistical courses with great success. In January 2011, she also started a PhD at a part-time basis on Copula models and their application within paediatric data.
