Dr Kenny Ching
  • Lecturer
  • UCL School of Management
  • Faculty of Engineering Science

Prior to my academic career, I spent several years working in both private and public sectors in Asia and the US.  My most recent professional position was that of a venture capitalist, where I managed a US$15m early-stage fund based in Singapore.  My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and Master of Science and PhD degrees in Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

I am an avid racket sports enthusiast with a special love for tennis.  My secret ambition is to be a USTA 6.0-rated player, although my physical gifts (or lack of) do not match my ambitions. My other interests include online competitive gaming as well as sports trivia and statistics. In the future, I hope to marry work with play by branching further into digital economy and sports analytics research.
