Research Summary

I am currently working as Research Fellow in Finance and Innovation at UCL, Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP). I focus my research on endogenous money theory, theories of economic growth and investment determination.

Before joining UCL, I worked for Roma Tre University (Rome, Italy) as teaching assistant in macroeconomics.

I obtained my PhD in Political Economy in May 2016 at Roma Tre University where I wrote a doctoral dissertation on the money creation process and the theory of investment, under the supervision of prof. Antonella Stirati. During my PhD, I was a visiting researcher at the Leeds University Business School (University of Leeds) under the supervision of prof. Giuseppe Fontana, with whom I have worked on the money creation process in the modern economies, combining a theoretical and empirical analysis for European countries.

My research areas of interest include technical progress, macroeconomics, monetary economics and theories of growth and distribution.
