Pete is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow, based in the Department of Information Studies at University College London. As part of the project, the participants will help to produce an accessible, annotated and hyperlinked living electronic archive of their experiences. This project is the latest in a long line of research projects undertaken with this cohort:
Web-based information access for people with learning disabilities: Funded during 2012: ESRC (2008-2013) and forming Pete’s PhD.
Using QR codes to aid accessibility in a museum: Funder -  Museum of English Rural Life (Reading University) (2012)
Beyond the Road Ahead: Funder - Accessible information for people with learning disabilities: Funder - Social Care Institute of Excellence (2006-2008)
Project @pple Developing a Virtual Learning Environment for adolescents with learning disabilities: Funder -  ESRC (2004-2006)
In addition to his learning disabilities work, Pete has spent the last 20 years investigating the use of the Internet and other ICT applications in the fields of education, health, scholarly communication/research, and the news media. This was first at City University and now at UCL. Pete has a strong publications record, with over 120 journal articles and book chapters, with over 40 as lead author.
