Giulia Bellesi

My work aims to examine how both healthy individuals and those with autistic spectrum disorders understand and apply everyday social norms.


Leila Jameel

I am interested in the relationship between social-skill and autistic traits. My research involves developing novel vignette based tasks to systematically examine factors that influence everyday social behaviour and decision-making."


Kari Vyas

I am interested in the role of psychopathic personality traits in everyday social transactions. My research entails the development of novel, scenario-based tasks to investigate factors that influence social decision-making and behaviour


Research Themes
Research Summary

My research in the fields of social cognition and executive dysfunction is concerned with developing novel tasks that have proved sensitive to everyday and social difficulties. These studies have delineated the extent to which processing of social information is intact or impaired in a range of neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, and have highlighted the contribution of multiple routes to impairment, including difficulties in mentalising, executive processes and social knowledge.
