Social-Ecological Relationships Between Social Perceptions, Water Use, and Climate Change
This is a project funded by a $1,499,984 NSF (National Science Foundation (BCS-1114851)) grant that focuses on water use, human perceptions, and environmental change. We address what the role of environmental distancing is on how people perceive hydrologic change as it affects water quality and quantity and how that influences people's use of water resources. This project applies text mining, social-ecological modeling, and other methods to address the research problems.
