George qualified from University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry in 2002 and spent his military service as a dentist. He then moved to the University of Louisville in Kentucky USA, where he completed three years of postgraduate specialty training in Periodontology and Implants and a MS degree in Oral Biology. George joined University of Louisville as an Assistant Professor of Periodontology, where he taught at the predoctoral and as senior graduate faculty at the postgraduate level, and saw patients in the private wings. 

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and served on the Tarson Award Selection Committee in Periodontal Plastic surgery of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation. George moved to London U.K. in 2009 where he spends his time between private practice in Central London and teaching at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL. He is currently a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow and Director of Periodontal CPD Programmes.
