The UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, together with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, forms a national and international centre at Queen Square for teaching in neurology and neuroscience. UCL Neurosciences is currently ranked second in the world by ISI Essential Science Indicators. Over 70% of our research was identified as ?world-leading? (4*) or ?internationally relevant? (3*) in the 2008 RAE. Four of the top 12 most highly cited authors working worldwide in neuroscience and behaviour work at the institute.
