Biosciences
The UCL Division of Biosciences is a vibrant and exciting environment for research and teaching in the biological sciences. Our research community of over 500 staff and approximately 300 PhD students has an international reputation for outstanding research. Our research interests span all biological scales from molecules to cells, tissues, organisms and populations. The Division of Biosciences was created from the old established departments of Anatomy, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Physiology. New Research Departments have been created: Cell and Developmental Biology, Genetics, Evolution and Environment, Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology and Structural and Molecular Biology
