Biography
Antonia completed her undergraduate degree in Classical Studies and master's degree in Classics at Royal Holloway, University of London. She has always been interested in how feminism can be utilised to interrogate Latin texts. Her undergraduate dissertation regarded examples of misogyny in Augustan poetry whilst her Master's thesis involved using intersectionality as the praxis for investigating the Poenulus of Plautus. Antonia hopes to continue to explore how modern social concepts impact our view and understanding of the ancient texts and the societies they belong to.
