Biography
Alex is a PhD researcher in the Patra Lab under the supervision of Dr Hirak Patra. Alex is working in the field of nanomedicine designing and developing a programmable drug delivery system to combat multi-drug resistant cancer. Using a combination of stimuli-responsive materials Alex plans to create a logic-gated delivery system which will reduce the of target effects of the systems cargo and increase drug accumulation at the tumour site.
