My research expertise lies in economics applied to education, focusing on educational policies and inequalities.
The first strand of my research agenda focuses on teacher policies. I initiated this research agenda during my PhD at the Paris School of Economics under the supervision of Julien Grenet and Thomas Piketty. I wrote a book (in French) based on the main results of my PhD thesis, which was published by Fayard (top Parisian publisher) and received national media coverage in France.
The second strands focuses on pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I am currently leading a Nuffield grant on the medium-term impact of the pandemic on SEND pupils.
I am leading the economics of education module for the initial teacher training in social science in France (Agrégation de sciences sociales, graduate level) at Universite Paris-Pantheon Sorbonne in 2022-2023.
