Biography
I am an academic neurosurgical trainee on the North Thames rotation, having previously completed an academic clinical fellowship (Imperial College London) and academic foundation programme (University of Cambridge). During my PhD, I've developed a keen interest in epilepsy surgery and paediatric neurosurgery.

I am currently the Clinical Fellow on the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guideline on the diagnosis and management of epilepsy and Associate Editor for the British Journal of Neurosurgery. I am also the research lead for the neurosurgical charity Brainbook.

Research Summary
I am currently a final year PhD student investigating novel network analyses in children undergoing epilepsy surgery. My projects span a number of scales including clinical, neuroimaging (structural and diffusion imaging) and neurophysiological (LFP and microelectrode) data with the aim of improving our understanding of why some children do and others do not become seizure free following resective surgery for epilepsy.

My PhD is funded by a GOSH Children's Charity Surgeon Scientist Fellowship.

I also have an interest in clinical trials including large-scale collaborative studies and randomised controlled trials. I am the current Academic Representative for the British Neurosurgical Trainee Association and have previously been British Neurosurgical Trainee Research Collaborative and Associate Surgical Specialty Lead for Research in Neurosurgery at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Teaching Summary
I have supervised MRes and BSc students, in addition to supervising a number of medical students research projects on an ad-hoc basis.
