Biography
I completed my PhD in 2017, under the supervision of Tim Crane at the University of Cambridge. Since then, I've held positions in Southampton, Gothenburg, Birkbeck and Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Longer ago, I did my BA at UCL in Philosophy and Ancient Greek (where I believe I was the only student taking that course for the three years I was there).
Research Summary

I am currently an Early Career Fellow in the UCL Philosophy Department. My project, Belief in Philosophy and the Criminal Law, is funded by The Leverhulme Trust. The project aims to understand the concept of belief better by focusing on its role in the criminal law, particularly in relation to criminal responsibility.

I'm interested more generally in epistemology, philosophy of mind, and legal philosophy, as well as the history of philosophy.
