Biography
Aaron uses large, population-based datasets, advanced statistical methods and epidemiological frameworks to examine risk and resilience factors in mental health. He focuses on digital mental health, the intersection of physical and mental health, mental health across the lifespan, workplace mental health, and causal inference and data science methods. 


Aaron received his PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology from UCL's Division of Psychiatry and an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Amsterdam. He has won various awards for his work, including the Michael King Prize for best PhD thesis and 1st place in the Crick Innovation Challenge for Data-Driven Health. 


Aaron has worked across a range of organisations in health, including the Wellcome Trust, UK Health Security Agency, Public Health England, Mental Health Foundation, and Monash University. He currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Juli and Writer and Editor at Medical News Today alongside his position at UCL.
