Biography
Ahmed Karam Eldaly was awarded a scholarship by the European Commission to obtain an Erasmus Mundus joint Masters degree in Computer Vision and Robotics (VIBOT) between September 2013 and August 2015. He spent his first semester at Universite de Bourgogne (UB), Le Cresuot, France; second semester at Universitat de Girona, Spain; third semester at Heriot-Watt University (HWU), Edinburgh, UK, and final semester with Le2i Laboratory, UB, Dijon, France. In October 2018, he was awarded the PhD in Electrical, Electonic and Computer Engineering jointly with School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, HWU, and The Queens Medical Research Institute, The University of Edinburgh (UoE). He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) in computational imaging at HWU and UoE, as part of the £4M UDRC project. He is currently a Research Fellow with University College London, working on computational imaging for biomedical applications.
