Dr Allison Lindner joined UCL Faculty of Laws as a Lecturer in September 2021. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Kent, an LLM in International Economic Law from SOAS, University of London, and a B.A in International and Comparative Studies from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to joining UCL Faculty of Laws, Dr Lindner was an Assistant Lecturer at Kent Law School. Dr Lindner is an interdisciplinary legal scholar who draws on economics and sociology to understand the connections between human activity, the environment and the law. Her empirical work has examined how sustainable development has influenced the shape of waste management regimes and the economic interactions of the informal economy in the Global South. More broadly, she is interested in environmental law, the informal economy, and research methodologies. Dr Lindner is a member of the UCL Centre for Law and Environment.
