Biography

Aiden is an Associate Professor. He joined the Department of Security and Crime Science in 2006 and completed his PhD between 2009 and 2012.

Research Summary

Aiden's main research interests are problem-oriented policing, crime prevention and the police response to missing people. Aiden is a member of the academic advisory board for Her Majesty‚Äôs Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services and a judge for the international Herman Goldstein Award for Excellence in Problem-Oriented Policing.  



Teaching Summary

Aiden is module convenor for two undergraduate modules: Understanding the Crime Event and Psychology and Crime.
