Biography
Annalisa joined the UCL in 2020 from the University of Exeter, where she
has worked as research fellow/associate. In the past she worked at the
University of Pennsylvania as visiting researcher and at Queen Mary
University of London as teaching fellow in econometrics and finance.
After a first degree in Politics she got a MSc in Econometrics and Economics at the University of York and PhDs in Economics at the University of Bristol and at the University of Milan (Italy).
Research Summary
Annalisa is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary researcher. She works mainly in applied econometrics. She has broad research interests and she has papers on various topics, among which global food security and resilience in the food system, social interactions, identity, the impact of cognitive and noncognitive skills on individual behaviour.
During her career she received various studentships/scholarships/fellowships/research grants/funds to develop her ideas. Most of her research output has been financed through national and international foundations, private or governmental funding bodies.
She presented her work at various national and international conferences, among which:

Teaching Summary
Annalisa has gained a broad teaching experience.During her career she has taught modules in econometrics, financial econometrics, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and quantitative methods at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She has been invited lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and at the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (China).
