Biography

Ada Miltz, PhD is a Research Fellow in Epidemiology at University College London. Dr Miltz received an MRC studentship for her PhD thesis on the role of depression in sexual behaviour linked to STI/HIV transmission among gay and bisexual men. She continues to research the psychosocial determinants of health among gay and bisexual men, in particular intimate partner violence (IPV). She combines epidemiology and complex statistical methodology with psychological and social theories. She contributes to teaching on Causation in Epidemiology and Gender and Health.
