Biography
I am the programme manager for the UKPRP-funded Kailo Consortium and a research associate at UCL and the Anna Freud National Centre and Children and Families and a part-time PhD student. I am also a psychodynamic psychotherapist, having trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust. I am African-American and French, and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics from the University of Warwick, an MSc in Theoretical Psychoanalytic Studies from UCL, and an MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Essex.
Research Summary
I have previously worked as a researcher on the COFI project at the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry in Newham (Queen Mary University of London and the East London NHS Foundation Trust) and on the Tavistock Adult Depression Study (TADS). My main areas of interest include Epistemic Trust, racism, adolescent mental health, friendship, and the application of psychoanalytic ideas to social issues.
