My research explores the intersection between Target 3 of the Global Biodiversity Framework and the territorial rights of Indigenous peoples in the Colombian Amazon. Specifically, it analyses the opportunities and risks associated with the implementation of OECMs for local rights holders, including for traditional ecological knowledge and autonomous territorial governance.
