Research Summary
My main research interest is investigating the regulatory role of non coding RNAs in biological processes, particularly involved in the sexual differentiation process and stress response.
I also interested in in the regulatory role of nucleic acid nucleic proteins interactions in transcription regulation and heterochromatin formation.
I am also applying different genome-wide approaches and high throughput methods to understand the relationship between genotype and phenotype in different environments.
Our study model is the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe.
