Research Summary

My current research focuses on the relationship between agricultural production and biodiversity change.  Using the PREDICTS database, I investigate global drivers of biodiversity change at the local scale.  This research is part of the NERC funded BIOTA project which aims to determine the interactions and trade-offs between biodiversity, agriculture and trade.

Outside of this project, I am also interested in large-scale biodiversity monitoring and the production of biodiversity indicators, and the use of occurrence records to determine large-scale species trends.
