Chloe Parkin is based in the Population, Policy and Practice Programme at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health (ICH). She is Unit Manager for the NIHR Children and Families Research Unit hosted by ICH.
Chloe is a member of Professor Ruth Gilbert's research group.
Chloe is responsible for the operational running of CPRU which is funded by NIHR until December 2023. Prior to this role, Chloe was a research manager in Professor Catherine Law's Centre for Policy Research.
Prior to her UCL roles Chloe was Head of Policy and
Communications at the UK Faculty of Public Health for six years. Here, she held
a wide portfolio of responsibilities which gave her a broad insight into UK
public health policy and structures.
Chloe’s academic background is in the humanities. She has a PhD in
eighteenth-century French medical and cultural history from the University of
Warwick.
