Biography
I research, develop and apply systematic literature searching methods for research reviews that inform public policy. My interests include information retrieval for broad and diverse topics. I am based in the UCL Institute of Education's EPPI-Centre within the Department of Social Science. I work within the following programme streams: The Health Promotion and Public Health Reviews Facility and Reviews for Developing Economies.
I am a tutor on Systematic Review Design and Planning, a module within the MSc Systematic Reviews for Social Policy and Practice. I also support research groups internationally to learn and use literature searching methods for systematic reviews, particularly within the fields of developing economies and public health.
I contribute to the Cochrane Public Health Review Group and Information Retrieval Methods Group, the Campbell Information Retrieval Methods Group, and the NICE Joint Information Group.
