Biography
My passion for neuroscience and psychology stemmed from my undergraduate experience at Bates College in the United States, where I received my bachelor's in neuroscience. Following this degree, I went on to complete a master's in educational neuroscience from Birkbeck/ UCL. Currently, I am a doctoral student at the Department of Psychology and Human Development within the IOE, and my supervisors are Roberto Filippi and Emily Midouhas.

Research Summary
My research will explore the relationship between bilingualism, ADHD, and executive function skills. I am interested in understanding how some of the cognitive benefits from a bilingual experience can influence the cognitive deficits observed in ADHD.

Questions driving my research:

1. Is the available literature providing evidence for a bilingual advantage in ADHD sufferers at a specific age in their development?

2. Do bilinguals with ADHD perform better than monolinguals a result fo their unique linguistic experience?

I wish to explore these questions using cognitive assessments and, with hope, EEG in order to find potential neural markers governing the possible developmental differences between groups.
