Biography

David Parfitt joined UCL in 2011 and is a research associate working on the cell biology of retinal and neurodegeneration in the laboratory of Professor Michael Cheetham at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. David undertook his PhD studies on molecular chaperone cell biology in neurodegeneration in the laboratory of Professor Paul Chapple at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London and was awarded his PhD in 2011. David received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of York in 2005.
