Krešo Bučar obtained a B.Sc. in chemistry under the supervision of Dr. Ernest Mestrović at the University of Zagreb, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Iowa under the guidance of Prof. Leonard R. MacGillivray. He then started his independent research career as a Royal Society Newton International Fellow at the University of Cambridge, where he was kindly hosted by Prof. William Jones. While in Cambridge, he was also a Bye-Fellow at Sidney Sussex College. He recently joined the Department of Chemistry at University College London as UCL Excellence Fellow and lecturer. Krešo’s research interests mainly evolve around molecular cocrystals and their applications.
