Daisy joined UCL Energy Institute in 2019 for a part-time PhD in Energy.
She also works full-time as sustainability analyst in the energy industry.
Before starting her PhD, she obtained a Bachelors and Masters in Management Engineering at the University of Brussels. She was selected to be part of the QTEM programme for her Masters, which provides reinforced analytical skills and international exposure.

Daisy's research focuses on the contribution of the energy industry to the transition towards a Circular Economy. She studies the integration of Circular Economy principles at strategic and operational levels of companies active in the energy value chain, with a focus on electric utilities.
Methods include content and thematic analysis, statistical data analysis, case study research, and expert elicitation techniques.
Her research falls within the field of industrial ecology, and interferes with other fields, such as business management, industrial engineering and environmental economics.
