Biography
I am a lecturer inEnglish Education. I work as a Subject Tutor on the English PGCE and on the English MA where I lead the Creative Writing strand of the Creativity module. Before joining the Institute of Education,I taught English for twenty five years in schools in, and around, London. I began work at the IOE in 2003 as a co tutor on the English PGCE and, later, the Masters of Teaching and Learning (MTL). From 2011, I worked as a tutor on the Teach First Programme in addition to the PGCE; module lead on DUEMDS (Deeper Understanding in English, Media and Drama); and supervision of dissertations for MA and M Teach modules.
