Biography
I describe myself as an advocate of research informed practice in education. I work on a wide range of research and development projects including research-engaged schools, school to school peer review, inspection systems, and lesson study. Before moving into full time research I was a Lead Inspector for the Independent Schools' Inspectorate and a freelance researcher. Prior to that I worked at a sixth form college as a research coordinator.

Teaching Summary
Programme leader for the MA Leadership and previously for MA Leadership (Teach First). I supervise MA students. I am also module leader for 'Doing and Using Educational Leadership and Management Research' on the MA Leadership programme, for Doing Research Within and Across Schools' (for Harris schools Leadership MA) and also for Leading and Managing Change and Improvement (core module for MA Leadership).
