Doctor Elise Crayton is a Research Fellow in Health Psychology and behavioural science based at University College London in the Centre for Behaviour Change (CBC).
Elise completed a BSc hons in Psychology at the University of Southampton in 2011 before moving on to complete an MSc in Health Psychology in 2013 at the University of Surry. Elise then worked within the NHS as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist before moving on to undertake her PhD at King's College London, completing in 2018. Her thesis was entitled:
Improving medication adherence in stroke survivors: Development of a novel and acceptable intervention. Elise has now been working with the CBC since 2018 on multiple projects relating to behaviour change in health.
Dr Elise Crayton carries out teaching including the delivery of seminars and lectures relating to research methods, the development and evaluation of behaviour change interventions, and approaches interdisciplinary working. Elise is also a personal tutor and supervises MSc research projects.
