Research Summary

Eleni’s research interests are found at the intersection of Management, Social Science, and Engineering. She has been looking at Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a domain of Information Technology (IT) for generating, sharing, and managing consistent information among various actors, based on the principles of information systems interoperability. As BIM and digital technologies not only require but also have the potential to increase the collaboration within the supply chain, Eleni has been researching BIM and digital transformation from an intra- and inter-organisational standpoint, and in particular through the lens of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and partnering. She is interested in digital and relational aspects of governance of project network for and due to the advancement of construction IT. She welcomes proposals for collaboration and knowledge transfer between academia, policy and industry.
