I am a part-time PhD student at the Psychology and Human Development department, IOE. I am also a member of the Child Development and Learning Difficulties Lab.

I am passionate about promoting research-based practice and developing effective educational programme to foster inclusion in the classroom and to support educational outcomes and independence of children and adults with developmental disorders.

In 2018 I co-founded Happy Mind Training and I began working with and supporting children with Down syndrome and their families. Since then, I have collaborated with families, therapists, and school staff to support the development of number skills of students with Down syndrome, and I have delivered individual and group training sessions and specialist workshops for families and professionals. In 2021 I have started a new venture, Team 21, with the aim of providing holistic support for children and young people with Down syndrome.
