My broadly-defined research interests are focused on the mathematical aspects of learning in artificial and biological systems, particularly through the lens of statistical learning theory. My work thus far has focused on PAC-Bayes to understand learning in shallow and deep neural networks, and to obtain non-vacuous generalisation bounds and improved training methods for the above.
