Research Summary

Cell polarity is a widespread and crucial feature, which for example enables organogenesis, directed cell migration or neural circuit formation. Our research is aimed at characterizing the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in polarity remodeling during development. Specifically, our work focuses on the problems of epithelial polarity remodeling and polarized axonal growth, two processes that are absolutely required during epithelial-derived organogenesis and neural circuit development respectively.
