I am a Professor in Pure Mathematics at UCL, which I joined in 02/2013.

I have been awarded a Leverhulme Research Project Grant (with Jason D. Lotay, UCL) as PI and a Leverhulme Visiting Professor award and an Royal Society International Exchanges award. I was also awarded a Emmy-Noether Fellowship of the German Research Foundation (DFG), which was active from 2008-1016. I have also been awarded an HIMR Focused Research Grant (with Lotay as Co-I), an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship and LMS Scheme 3, Scheme 4 and Scheme 9 grants. I am a member of the LMS and the DMV.

I am on the editorial board for the journals of the LMS (Bulletin of the LMS, Journal of the LMS, Proceedings of the LMS and Transactions of the LMS) as an editorial advisor for Differential Geometry, Geometric Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. I am also on the editorial board for the Journal of Geometric Flows.

From 2002-2003 I had postdoc position at ETH Zürich, working with Tom Ilmanen. From 2003-2008 I was as a postdoc (Assistent) at the Free University Berlin with Klaus Ecker. In the years 2008-2013 I had a Junior Research Group with a Emmy-Noether Fellowship of the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the Free University Berlin.
