Research Summary
My teaching and research activity encompasses cultural heritage studies, museum studies and heritage management. My work is informed by qualitative approaches to heritage research and my specific research interests include reconciling tangible with intangible heritage values, intangible and multisensory cultural heritage (particularly food heritage, olfactory heritage, living religious heritage) and the promotion of sustainability through heritage.
