Originally from North East England, I completed a BSc in physics at the University of Manchester, and after a musical interlude, continued with a PhD in particle physics. As part of my PhD, I was based at Fermilab, near Chicago USA, working on D0 experiment on what was, at the time, the highest energy particle accelerator in the world, the Tevatron. After a postdoctoral position with Northeastern University, also on D0, in 2009 I took a position as a CERN Fellow, working on the CMS experiment. In 2010 I joined UCL as a Royal Society University Research Fellow, working initially on the ATLAS experiment. In 2018 I moved to g-2 and Mu3e.

I am an experimental particle physicist focused on the search for new physics through precision and measurements and the search for rare processes. I currently work on the Fermilab Muon g-2 experiment and an Physics Coordinator for the PSI Mu3e experiment.
