Geoff Mason

Visiting Professor at LLAKES. Formerly Principal Research Fellow, National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR)

Centre for Learning and Life Chances in Knowledge Economies and Societies (LLAKES)

Geoff Mason  has extensive experience of applied research studies, including cross-country comparisons, in the areas of productivity, innovation, education, training and labour markets, Among other projects in recent years, he has led research on productivity, innovation and skills in the UK, US, France and Germany; employer demand for skills in the UK; and a comparative study of vocational education and training systems in seven European countries.  This work has been funded by academic research councils, government departments and foundations in the UK, US and New Zealand and by European Union agencies.
