Greek National Scholarship Foundation, 1979, 1982-84

Research Interests: Hydrocarbon Catalytic Reactions (Coking/Deactivation of Zeolites, Polymer Recycling via Catalytic Cracking of Plastic Waste)
Dr Manos's research activities are primarily in the area of Hydrocarbon
Catalytic Reactions (Coking/Deactivation of Zeolites, Polymer Recycling via
Catalytic Cracking of Plastic Waste), Homogeneous Catalysis, Supercritical
Fluid Reactions, and Molecular Simulation/Statistical Mechanical Modelling
(Adsorption on Zeolites, Supercritical Fluids, Electronic Functional
Materials).
Dr Manos is co-editor of the book “Adsorption and Phase Behaviour in Nanochannels and Nanotubes” published by Springer Publishers in 2010 and reviewer for a number of international journals. He is a member of the
Dr Manos is a member of the Greek Engineering Council (Chartered Engineer Status) and the Greek Institute of Chemical Engineers. He is also a graduate member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and a member of its Applied Catalysis and Reaction Engineering Subject Group.
