I hold a BA in philosophy of mind and language from San-Raffaele University, Milan (Italy), a Research Master (M.Sc.) in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at the Radboud University of Nijmegen (the Netherlands), and a PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, and University of Leipzig (Germany). I have held a research fellowship and a research lectureship at the MARCS institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development, at Western Sydney University (Australia). Currently, I hold a research associate position at University College London, Department of Neuroscience, Physiology and Pharmacology (UK).

Research Summary

My research combines behavioural, brain stimulation and electrophysiological methods in order to understand the neural mechanisms that underpin motor, sensory, and sensorimotor functions in humans.
