Dawid joined the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at UCL as a Research Fellow in Social Life course Epidemiology. He works on the project on early life adversities and mental health over the life course using large population cohorts.
Dawid received his PhD from the Centre for Longitudinal Studies at UCL. His thesis was focused on longitudinal and cross-cohort trends in mental and physical health outcomes using the British birth cohort. Before his PhD, Dawid completed and MSc in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at UCL and worked on research related to mental health provision among young people and in migrant population.
Dawid’s main research interests lie in:
- Life course development of mental health and wellbeing
- Risk factors, mainly in early-life, for poor mental health and wellbeing
- Generational trends in health, with a focus on mental health, and their determinants
