Dr Hend Abdelhakim is an Associate Lecturer (Teaching) at UCL School of Pharmacy and has held this appointment since January 2021. She completed her PhD in 2021 which focused on taste masking and taste assessment of medicines for paediatric drug development. She is recognised by the Higher Education Academy as a Fellow (FHEA). Dr Abdelhakim is also a fully registered General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) pharmacist with experience in community pharmacy and the clinical trials sector.
