Biography
I am a research postdoc in the department of Genetics, Evolution and Environment. I have a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, MSc Bioinformatics and PhD in prostate cancer genomics. Beginning early in my career I have chose cancer-related projects becoming more narrowly interested in translational genomics. I have worked on identifying urine biomarkers to differentiate prostate cancer progression, identifying mutations and epigenetic alterations involved in early onset colorectal carcinogenesis and identifying key characteristics for patients with poor prognosis when infected with COVID-19 whilst enduring an active cancer.
