Research Summary

I work mainly on issues in political philosophy, practical ethics, and normative ethics, but I am also interested in philosophy of law and epistemology. I am currently focusing on a project about interpersonal aggregation, risk, and contractualism, and another project about supererogation, egalitarianism, and exploitation.

Teaching Summary

In the autumn term, I will be teaching 'Topics in Political Philosophy', which is open to second-year undergraduates; and 'Consequentialism and Contractualism', which is open to third-year undergraduates, masters students, and research students. In the spring term, I will be teaching 'Philosophy of Effective Altruism', which is open to third-year undergraduates, masters students, and research students; and 'Aggregation in Ethics', which is open to research students.
